Meet the Owner and Founder

My love of finance started back in the mid 90's in the Business School at Clark Atlanta University.  After taking my first finance course, I was intrigued by the concept of how money could compound over time.  I knew I wanted to help people with their finances, teach them to invest and build wealth for themselves and their families.  Although I knew this, I did not feel I had enough life experience at the tender age of 21 to get right into the field.

As time would go on, I continued to be very passionate about creating financial goals and planning for the future. After years of working in the banking and retail industry, I decided it was time to make a career change so I could begin working toward having a positive and lasting impact on the financial lives of other people.

After serving clients and working as a financial advisor in the industry for a few years, I decided to start my own practice.  As the owner and founder of Logan Financial Empowerment, I get the privilege of serving a diverse group of small business owners, individuals, and families.  I fundamentally believe that everyone should have an opportunity to build wealth, especially in America.  Financial Planning and building wealth should not be something in which only a select few get to participate.

My commitment is to work with you to create a personalized financial plan that will best meet the specific goals that you have outlined for yourself and your family. Once your financial plan is in place, we will meet periodically to review achievements against your stated objectives and ensure you are comfortable that everything is moving forward according to plan.

My clients can expect my decisions to be guided by what is always in their best interest. I am very passionate about working in this profession and truly believe in the power of financial planning to improve the lives of individuals and their families. As a Financial Advisor, I hold my Series 66 license, and the AAMS designation from the College of Financial Planning.  I obtained a BA in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University in 1998.

I am also a huge advocate for financial literacy and have volunteered with local organizations committed to mentoring high school and middle school aged students to ensure they have a basic understanding of financial concepts and investments. I am happily married to my lovely wife Charlene, and we have two children in elementary school. I am an avid sports fan and in my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, playing golf, and coaching youth league basketball.
